Who We Are

ABOUT MCRCI

Many Canadians with serious medical conditions do not respond well to conventional medical treatment and may be helped by marijuana. Health Canada’s Access to Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) allows patients to legally possess, purchase cannabis from a Licensed Commercial Producer, and/or apply for a personal production license. In order to register under the ACMPR, patients must have support from a medical doctor or nurse practitioner.

Assisting Patients

We provide guidance in the use of cannabis for medical purposes in a compassionate and non-judgmental environment.

Patient Advisory

We help you meet Health Canada’s requirements to use cannabis legally. To register under the ACMPR, you must be supported by a doctor.

Advanced Care

We help you gather medical files, arrange appointments with affiliated doctors, choose licensed producers, & guide in the use of cannabis.

What We Do

Excellence Is Our Speciality

Many Canadians with serious medical conditions do not respond well to conventional medical treatment and may be helped by marijuana. Health Canada’s Access to Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) allows patients to legally possess, purchase cannabis from a Licensed Commercial Producer, and/or apply for a personal production license. In order to register under the ACMPR, patients must have support from a medical doctor or nurse practitioner.

MCRCI does not provide patients with a family physician or a specialist. MCRCI works with doctors who have an understanding of cannabis and its medical uses. Those doctors confine their care to issues related to the medical use of marijuana and take responsibility for the support of Health Canada applications. One of the staff members of MCRCI will review your medical history and a doctor’s appointment will be arranged if you qualify.

These services include assisting patients in gathering their necessary medical files, arranging for them to see a doctor affiliated with MCRCI, choosing a licensed producer, and providing guidance in the use of medicinal cannabis. Our team of doctors specializing in cannabis as a medicine include chronic pain specialists, general practitioners, emergency medicine physicians, psychiatrists and a paediatrician. With a base of over 7,000 patients MCRCI’s team of educators and doctors are second to none in the medicinal cannabis space.

Committed to being on the forefront of research and development, MCRCI is now embarking on a clinical research study with medicinal cannabis.
